Klotz Digital Named Official Supplier for Adris Group
Adris Group, one of the leading companies in Croatia's tourist and travel sector, chose a Klotz Digital Varizone PA system for its new five star hotel "Monte Mulini" in Rovinj/Istria. Varizone has been installed by Dicroic, Klotz Digital's Croatian Sales and Service partner. Since working with the new PA system, Adris Group has secured a long term contract with Dicroic for the design, projecting, installation and maintenance in the field of audio, video & multimedia solutions for all objects, and has named Klotz Digital as one of its official suppliers.
The Varizone Performance Line system has been installed in Monte Mulini's 2000 square meter spread SPA area and in its bar and restaurant section. It divides these two main areas in 15 acoustical zones, providing a perfect sound quality in each. Varizone is mainly used to supply background music and to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere supporting the impression of thematically oriented landscapes in these areas. Furthermore, information, individual customer, and staff calls are supplied. "Klotz Digital's remarkable technology allows a fast and individual assignment of zones without rewiring, which is an extraordinary advantage in the SPA. Separate areas and rooms are used for different events over a specific time period and need to be rearranged, both physically and acoustically, every few weeks", explains Dicroic's project manager, Slaven Tahirbegovic. These are decisive advantages of Varizone; and the reason why Adris Group is thrilled with this PA system. „Beyond that, the use of hot-swap techniques - allowing the user to substitute significant system components during ongoing operations - is an unbeatable Varizone advantage, compared to traditional and other digital PA systems."
The centre piece of Monte Mulini's Varizone solution is a V212CHDD mainframe, routing incoming and outgoing audio throughout the tied-in areas. Via the I-PAMs - each zone, combined zones, or all zones at once - can be addressed with individual content. Via Octo-Bus (digital audio network) linked in paging panels allow authorized personnel both customer and staff announcements. Volume Control and Source Modules, as well as Channel Select Extensions, enable easy change of content and volume in the zones. The Varizone at "Monte Mulini" is a hybrid solution. This means, digital I-PAM technology and conventional analogue 100V technology have been combined.
