Peavey Offers Sanctuary to all Systems Integrators in Europe

Following the highly successful launch of the Sanctuary Series into the US market in 2006, Peavey has announced that the range has obtained all of the necessary CE approvals in order to make its European debut at ProLight & Sound 2009.
Sanctuary Series is a range of products aimed specifically at the worship market, although would be suited to a wide variety of fixed installations with a live sound element. Designed to maximise performance and value, the range pays keen attention to aesthetics and includes amplifiers, mixers with automatic mixing and feedback elimination, microphones for all applications and loudspeakers available in white and black and finish to blend into any décor.
Sanctuary Series mixers are available in a number of formats and are dedicated to making pro audio easy and cost-effective for non-professional operators. For example, Peavey's patented Automix technology is an automatic mixing function that turns down unused channels to give dominance to the main microphone, minimising unwanted noise. The built-in digital feedback killer will effectively eliminate feedback without sacrificing tonal quality. Models on show are the S-32 32-channel mixer, the S-14 12-channel mixer and the S-4 4-channel rack-mount mixer, which may be used either as a stand-alone or plug-in device.
Sanctuary Series offers a comprehensive range of loudspeakers for every application, from full range high power flyable and arrayable loudspeakers to monitor cabinets and under-balcony devices as well as line arrays and sub woofers. The SSE is a new series of enclosures featuring high power ratings with custom components, a sleek look and a unique, snap-in metal grille. Peavey will be showing the SSE 10 which is a 2-way lightweight speaker system featuring a 10" woofer for music and the spoken word, and the smaller SSE 6 with a 6.5" woofer, ideal for speech reinforcement. Both are ideal solutions where space is at a premium. Also on show is the SSE UB2, a low-profile quarter-spherical coverage array that provides mid/high frequency coverage ideal for under-balcony, spot-coverage or delay use, or even an entire small room. Finally, Peavey is pleased to present the SSE LA compound-radius, curved 60° V x 120° H line array enclosure that proves a controlled and contoured vertical coverage patter for improved intelligibility in larger or more reverberant spaces.
Completing the Sanctuary Series line-up at ProLight & Sound 2009 is the SA-4200 power amp which furthers Peavey's commitment to making pro audio easy and cost effective for worship centres of all sizes. The SA-4200 offers four channels rated at 200 Watts each into 4 Ohms or 70 Volts (selectable in two-channel pairs) and also features built-in automatic delay. This versatility makes the SA-4200 ideal for delivering adequate power to both main and balcony/fill speakers, as well as other applications that may require multiple audio zones, or paging systems in larger venues.
