Greek Audience Loves Armin van Buuren's Turbosound Trance
Enjoying his second year at the top of DJ magazine's 100 top DJs list, Dutch trance sensation Armin van Buuren is in great demand worldwide. He is currently promoting his latest album Imagine (The Remixes) and at the end of April attracted a huge crowd at the Mamounia Club in Thessalonika, Greece, where they enjoyed van Buuren's unique sound in exquisite quality, thanks to a Turbosound audio system.
Supplied by Ilias Siatras of sound rental company Audio S (pictured left with Pavlos Symperas of Turbosound's Greek distributor Metro Audio Systems), the system comprised eight Turbosound TA-500 Aspect Wide mid/high loudspeakers and eight TSW-218 subs.
More than adequately covering the 3500-strong capacity audience, the system accurately reproduced every nuance of van Buuren's music, which covers the entire sonic spectrum.
"The show was incredibly successful," says Pavlos. "This kind of DJ event is ideal for Aspect Wide, the cabinets covered the audience perfectly, but with no loss of power or audio quality. The sound was fantastic throughout the venue and everyone was extremely happy with how the system performed."
