Successful Expansion for XTA in Poland

XTA Electronics distributor, Konsbud Audio, has announced its first successful year representing XTA in Poland, including the recent take up of the brand by three well known and significant Polish PA/sound reinforcement companies.

Airpol Sound & Light of Warsaw, has operated in the Pro Audio market since 1996 and owes its successful development to its philosophy of always investing in new technologies. Airpol's main business is in sound reinforcement, specializing in events ranging from concerts and festivals to corporate events where sound of the highest quality is a must. Airpol Sound & Light have expanded their original stock of XTA DP226s with the acquisition of DP448s and DP324s. Antoni Paluszkiewicz of Konsbud explained: "Airpol told us that they chose XTA family units because of their high quality, high reliability and their reputation, as well as the easy, user-friendly operation, which is due to accessible software."

GMB Pro Sound, also Warsaw based, is described by Konsbud as "one of the most renowned sound reinforcement companies in Poland and probably the most influential company in its field too, as it literally shapes the market through being the first to test out all the newest sound systems solutions." Following GMB Pro Sound's recent purchase of DS800 audio signal splitters, Antoni Paluszkiewicz of Konsbud told XTA: "The DS800 was bought mainly for co-operation with Digidesign Profile stage boxes and Soundcraft Vi-6 and Vi-4. The main factors which influenced GMB's purchasing decision were the current need for such gear, its technical specification, features, XTA brand name and obviously - the price."

Audio-Tech, based in Cracow, is a highly experienced rental company and the L'Acoustics dV-DOSC provider servicing big festivals, TV productions and live concerts of jazz, pop and rock music. Antoni Paluszkiewicz of Konsbud said: "Audio-Tech have chosen to use the DP448 and DS800 because of their excellent sound, stability, huge amount of accessible presets and very friendly user interface." One of Audio-Tech's representatives told Konsbud: "The XTA DP448 is fantastic and far ahead of many other loudspeaker processors we were using up to now. Perhaps the only one which can keep pace is the Dolby Lake but the XTA is crushingly superior when intuitiveness and the possibility of instant intervention during live application counts.''

Bill Woods, XTA sales and marketing director, commented: "I had a really good feeling about Konsbud when I appointed them soon after Frankfurt in 2008. That was justified by some very encouraging sales to the most demanding customers in this new developing market. I am delighted with the progress that the Konsbud team are making and look forward to hearing about more successes in the months to come."
