Ard Soilse Introduces Elation Range
Following a busy 2008, Irish rental company Ard Soilse Productions Ltd has been focusing on upgrading its moving light stock.
Following trials of various industry leading brands, directors Ian and Joe Betts chose the Elation Design Spot, Wash and Beam fixtures, having superior features, brightness and great quality.
"Each level of fixture has features and brightness equivalent to a fixture of a higher class," said Joe Betts "We are delighted with them, and the feedback from designers has been very positive."
Lighting designer Eoin McNinch used 10 Design Spot 300E fixtures for the Spiegel tent venue in this years Cork Midsummer Festival, and commented: "The Elation 300E's are a great rock and roll lamp. The punch you get out of them is fantastic, which was a huge help for me doing shows in an opaque Spiegel tent in the middle of the afternoon. The most useful function I found was the CMY. Having it in a lamp of this size is nice. And the fact that each colour uses two half wheels means you can snap between any colour very quickly - ideal for rock and roll.
"Ard Soilse is, in my opinion, the most helpful hire company in the country. I've never known them to say a flat out no. The equipment is second to none, always in perfect working order. Any hiring that I do, I always go to Joe Betts first."
Ard Soilse is Providing Elation fixtures to several major events this year, winning designers' attentions through high performance and competitive pricing.
