Blitz Begins 20th Anniversary Celebration with £10m Debt Repayment
Blitz Communications has begun celebrating its 20th anniversary this year by paying off £10m of debt and, at the same time, securing a further £1m for investment in new equipment. This follows the injection of £9.8m of capital by its shareholders.
Blitz's managing director, Paul Hutton, said: "Despite the recession we have been determined to maintain our strategy of investment in the best people and the latest equipment and we are certainly reaping the rewards of that course of action."
Munir Samji, Blitz's Chairman added: "At a time when it is fashionable to ‘knock' the banks I can only say that ours - The Royal Bank of Scotland - has given us the utmost support and shown the greatest confidence in us, and I should like to thank them for that."
