GLP's Successful UK Seminars

Recognising that any fixture can be prone to failure at any time GLP's aim has always been to provide the best possible product support with the minimum response time. In order to achieve this goal, one of GLP's core strategies has been to carry out a rolling programme of technical seminars, both at their German HQ and throughout the world.
Due to popular demand (and the increasing quantities of impression and impression XL fixtures appearing in the British market), GLP recently held a service seminar at the Richard Martin Lighting facilities in London.
Since the original training day became fully booked almost as soon as it was announced, Michael Müller, GLP Director of Customer Support, decided to extend the seminar to a second day.
Around 30 highly skilled technicians from some of the UK's leading sales and rental companies attended the event. During some relaxed training sessions, conducted by Joachim Kraft, Head of the GLP Workshop Department, they received detailed knowledge about the impression range and also gained new perspectives on LED lighting technology in general.
"The information gained was very valuable and is now being shared with all our employees globally," said James Prince of Bandit Lites.
His views were echoed by Gavin Kuzniar of Hawthorn Theatrical Ltd, who remarked on the "informative" training his team received. "We really enjoyed the day and found the seminars very helpful."
GLP's key accounts manager (UK), Stuart Fenwick, added: "We were delighted by the take-up, and received a 95% turn-out from those initially registering interest. This is certainly something we will repeat in the future."
The full list of companies attending included AC Lighting, Bandit Lites, Colour Sound Experiment, DRP, Gradav Hire, Hawthorn Theatrical, Neg Earth, Panalux, Richard Martin Lighting, Rob Mander Lighting, TMB and White Light.
