Stage Electrics On Call for Edinburgh Festival

Every August, Edinburgh transforms from one of the world's most beautiful cities into one of the largest performance spaces, presenting artists and performers from across the globe.
Building on the success of last year's presence at the Festival, Stage Electrics' dedicated ‘Edinburgh Support Team' will be based in Edinburgh from July 28 until September 4, on hand to provide a rapid response to all technical needs.
There will be a dedicated 24hr helpline available seven days a week, where Stage Electrics technicians will be available to assist with equipment requests. A dedicated support vehicle will also be available to ensure any spare equipment needed reaches the customer immediately. Stage Electrics will also have a host of consumables as part of their Edinburgh involvement, including gaffer tape, lamps, colour filters, paint and plugs, available for immediate sale.
Stage Electrics is one of the biggest suppliers of technical equipment to the Edinburgh Festival, and for over 20 years has had a strong presence at both the Edinburgh International Festival and Fringe Festival. This year Stage Electrics is supplying over 55 venues in total including the prestigious Assembly Rooms, Gilded Balloon, Underbelly, Universal Arts, The World Festival and several other shows around the city.
Adrian Searle, head of technical and hire at Stage Electrics comments: "Edinburgh 2008 marked the largest volume of equipment and services Stage Electrics has ever supplied to the Edinburgh festivals. This year we anticipate that will prove even more successful as we continue to support our customers big and small with the equipment they require, day or night."
