World's Largest Plasma Lifts Mercedes-Benz's Presence at Goodwood Festival of Speed

Mercedes-Benz chose to boost its presentation of its most recently launched car, with a stunning 103" Panasonic Plasma at Goodwood Festival of Speed this year.
The screen was a focal point of a showroom exhibition experience for visitors to the popular celebration of motoring and motor sport.
The Panasonic 103" was used as part of the launch for the Mercedes-Benz new E-Class saloon and coupe, forming a backdrop to the car exhibits in one part of the stand. Full HD film footage was displayed to the huge number of visitors to the stand throughout the weekend.
The screen, sourced from PSCo was installed on its specialist "in-flightcase", Screenlifter, which allowed it to be positioned in a prebuilt set by a single technician, who could raise it to the desired height at the touch of a button.
Mercedes-Benz appointed Mobile Promotions to design and project manage the stand and handle elements of the brand's presence at the festival.
Mobile Promotions' managing director Robin Carlisle explained: "This is the first year we have introduced large scale screen technologies to the stand, designed to make an impact for the new car launch and bring Mercedes-Benz DVD footage into the live environment. The Panasonic 103" added dynamism to the display and was a real asset in featuring the new car's heritage and assets to potential customers on the stand."
