dBTechnologies' New Products Now Shipping

This month sees the full complement of dBTechnologies' new active speakers shipping, following their celebrated launch at Pro Light & Sound earlier this year. The brand new Opera Digital and DVX systems as well as latest additions to the already successful FlexSys and DVA ranges are already meeting with approval from worldwide distributors.

European sales manager, Harald von Falkenstein says: "Our recent distributor convention, Prosonic boosted distributor confidence immensely and generated a good number of orders for all the new products."

Opera Digital is the successor to the acclaimed Opera range, with all models packed with attributes unrivalled and unexpected in this price range. Features include: digital bi-amping, more power, dual active limiter, new high performance transducer, switching power supplies (SMPS), digital sound processor and asymmetrical horn, all packed neatly into a new rugged yet lightweight polypropolene housing. digipro digital power amps are engineered to deliver higher performance in a lighter package and with a smaller footprint.

The final four units that complete the FlexSys active speaker series: F8, F10, F12 and F15 2-way speaker cabinets are designed to give maximum performance at minimum weight and size and are equipped with the latest high-end audio features such as an on-board DSP and bi-amped digital power amps making them stand out in this class of cabinet.

The DVX system marries dBTechologies' digipro power amp technology with state-of-the-art RCF neodymium speakers to raise the bar for sound pressure, performance and response. Boasting a feature set comprising high quality input board, multifunctional birch multiplex housings equipped with rigging points and rails and flexible configuration options, this professional speaker line offers solutions for a vast range of applications.

The S09 active 15" subwoofer is the latest addition to the DVA range, offering flexibility for both stacked and flown configurations with the DVA T4 line array modules. Featuring an integrated active stereo crossover with adjustable cutoff frequency (90Hz and 120Hz) and a phase inversion switch, it delivers true, tight and punchy bass response.

"Our distributors have given all our new products the thumbs-up, now we look forward to feedback from the end-users," says von Falkenstein, confidently.

dBTechnologies can be found at stand number D28 at this year's PLASA show.
