Entech Intech Announces Comprehensive Educational Program from Julius Grafton

Entech Intech has announced initial details of the widest-ranging educational program it has ever hosted, with topics including business, safety and carbon to be brought forward for discussion by industry professionals at the 2010 event in Sydney.

The announcement is another major step forward for the event which recently confirmed the widely welcomed news, that it would join forces with SMPTE Conference and Exhibition and co-show in 2011.

Beginning on February 14, the day prior to the opening of Entech Intech 2010 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre (February 15-17), the program will be run by Entech founder, Julius Grafton.

"I am really pumped about Entech and SMPTE joining forces in 2011," said Grafton. "Until they got together with SMPTE I wasn't interested and was even planning a vacation next February. Now there is a really sensible coming together of the two largest shows in 2011 and Entech 2010 can now move forwards.

"There are powerful issues the industry needs to debate next February in my educational program which will include free forums on critical matters, such as the need to revive Showsafe."

Details of the program will be launched next week, with the first release of topics to cover lighting, audio, video, integration, business and safety issues. "The objective is to draw on what Entech did best in all previous educational programs, and really make the event mandatory for visitors from all over the region," Grafton explained.

As part of the expansion of the event, Entech Intech owners Exhibitions and Trade Fairs (ETF) have signed a broad ranging cross-promotional agreement with Julius Media Group, publishers of CX Magazine and CX online. Another new and powerful cross-promotional agreement has also been inked with SMPTE Conference and Exhibition.

"We are delighted to be working with Julius on what is obviously a cornerstone facet of the Entech Intech event," said Matthew Walton, ETF managing director. "This will be a comprehensive educational program covering the important issues that are relevant to both the corporate and individual audience."
