XTA Announces New Network Audio and Installation Products

XTA Electronics has announced the launch of their first generation of Network Audio products - the NXBoB8 and NXBoB16.
The NXBoB8 and NXBoB16 respectively provide 8 and 16 channels of analogue audio from Dante networks. 24-bit DACs and careful attention to output drivers ensure professional performance with a dynamic range of 111dB un-weighted and 96kHz sample rate compatibility (network dependent).
Featuring 2 RJ45 network connections, 8 or 16 balanced XLR audio outputs, a single XLR for failsafe override use in voice evacuation applications.and another XLR for local RS485 communication, the NXBoB8 is a single rack space device while the NXBoB16 is two rack spaces.
Dante, the groundbreaking digital audio networking technology from Audinate, is XTA's choice for the highest quality networked audio. Dante is compatible with standard Internet Protocols - not just Ethernet - without compromising performance. Sample-accurate synchronization and industry-leading low latency means that Dante easily handles the challenges of live professional events. Both versions feature front panel metering and remote control over output gains along with muting, when used in conjunction with iCORE. The unit may be used independently, just as an audio breakout, straight from the box.
XTA has also announced the diversification of its product portfolio with the arrival at PLASA 2009 of its first installation product, the DC1048 integrated audio management system. Featuring full matrix mixing and the kind of palette of EQ functions you would expect from XTA, the DC1048 can be completely configured under the new iCORE software package.
24 bit high-end converters coupled with 96k sample rate, ensure a bandwidth in excess of 30kHz and a dynamic range of over 112dB. XTA's world class limiters, offering unrivalled transparency, give peace of mind when configuring a system to "set and forget". With its 4 inputs and 8 outputs all electronically balanced on 3 pin Phoenix connectors, the DC1048 also has GPIO interface built in along with the USB easy access front panel connector and RS485 networking. It's easy to get your system configured then left secure with only remote access via the touch panels (or any other system you choose).
As with all XTA products, excellent sound quality is assured through the heritage of the 4 Series processing platform and the use of high resolution, high sample rate audio converters.
XTA are on stand F4 at PLASA.
