LITEC at PLASA 2009
LITEC will present the new high-performing RF40 truss, the relevant update of EXE-Lodestar chain hoist, winner of the PLASA 07 and Showtech 07 Awards for Innovation, and the most widespread standard QX30S truss.
RF40 is a new line of trusses characterized by linear and elegant constructional geometries. It is a heavy load rectangular-section aluminium truss with 40x29cm side. Strong and compact it offers excellent performance for size. Ideal for long spans with considerable distributed loads, it is suitable for suspending loads centred with respect to the truss section. Connections are carried out with horizontal forks to minimise the use of corners and connectors. Accessories comprise flat trusses, and supports for using the trusses with 29x29 cm plate as a column or tower. The system is available in 4 lengths, from 1 to 4 metres.
EXE650C1 is a multi-function chain hoist purpose-designed for entertainment sector applications. Based on Lodestar mechanics with the addition of sophisticated EXE control electronics, this is the most complete and high-performance chain hoist available today, say Litec, responding to the stringent criteria of BGV-C1 regulation.
EXE650C1 has been developed with safety as top priority - hence the choice of components which themselves offer intrinsic safety systems, and also the decision to develop the EXE dual core (dual processor) system. LITEC received BGV-C1 certification in 2007 for the EXE chain hoist, and now extends the same level of safety to the new Motion and Action models which represent the natural evolution of the EXE, offering the highest standards and performance levels in single, combined and, exclusive to Action models, synchronous mode with the addition of a special external control unit, the DataLogger.
QX30S is a square section aluminium truss with 29 cm long sides. Its excellent size, weight, cost and performance characteristics are its key to success making it a benchmark for the installations sector. It is made of EN AW-6082 T6 alloy extruded components, with high load-bearing and twisting strength. It is characterised by the end plate produced from an aluminium alloy that is heat treated to ensure great strength and provide a bright polished appearance. The plate allows two different types of connection: quick-fit and with bolts. The use of double connection cast aluminium plate has clear benefits for the user: the possibility to choose between two connection systems, greater resistance to twisting, decrease in bending, absolute connection compatibility between trusses, and no risk of end deformation.
