LMC Enjoy Robust PLASA\'09

Working alongside key distribution partners and welcoming a cosmopolitan range of visitors onto their stand, LMC report a lively PLASA09, creating an opportunity for their team to build upon both current and new potential business across all markets.

Paul Hinkly, managing director of LMC said: "PLASA 09 bucked the trend for LMC with both robust business and even social introductions. The whole LMC team enjoyed meeting our visitors from across all markets and, frankly, after the first half year that this industry has endured, I cannot deny that I was very pleasantly surprised with the response to LMC and its partners."

The launch of Acustica Beyma loudspeaker distribution at the show proved very positive for LMC, and John Ridley, financial director at LMC, has found the stream of new enquiries very encouraging. "We are looking forward to this valuable distribution opportunity and the chance to build upon our successful history with Beyma."

Espartaco Saez, commercial director at Acustica Beyma commented: "The team at LMC have done a great job at PLASA, and it has been a pleasure spending time with them at the show. LMC is part of Beyma´s history in the UK and have a reputation for good service, the right commercial policies and the correct approach to this industry. We are really delighted to have this relationship back."

LMC enjoyed collaborating with several partners on the stand this year, including Da Cappo microphones, Be Station, APB DynaSonics and One Systems loudspeakers. Graham Allen from One Systems commented: "We were hugely impressed by the commercial quality of the leads we picked up at PLASA. Our brand benefited from the linkage between LMC Audio's excellent name and spread of customer base, and the quality of the branding statements on their stand. The result was a depth of new customer contacts that we couldn't have achieved otherwise. PLASA 2009 has exceeded the goals we set for it."

Andy Simmons, director of European sales for APB Dynasonics, noted: "This was by far the best PLASA show for APB for a while and it was being a part of the LMC stand that made it really very exciting - the knowledge and enthusiasm of all their staff to provide the customer with a great experience, and at the end of the day sell, was great to watch and be a part of."

The LMC stand experienced high footfall throughout the show, and it was clear that the presence of key partners on the stand proved mutually beneficial to all parties involved.

Sash Pochibko, partner in BeStation EU LLP, said: "PLASA 09 was a great launch experience for Be-Station, and LMC had a superbly positioned stand within the central arena. Visitors to the stand included a vast mix of audio enthusiasts, hire company owners through to veteran industry professionals. It was a pleasure to represent Be-Station in amongst many other new and innovative products that LMC were exhibiting."

Commenting on their relationship with LMC, Alan Greensall, director of Synergy Distribution, said: "The continued collaboration between Synergy and LMC in bringing the Da-Cappo microphones to the forefront of head-worn mics is helping the brand to grow. The PLASA show has been part of that strategy, with a professional visitor base that is still strong and focused."

Paul Hinkly concluded: "Well done to all of the visitors and our partners who spent their valuable time with us, and to the organisers for enabling such valuable future business."
