Music with CADAC at PLASA

Following on from an exceptional PLASA exhibition for Cadac, the company reports a significant increase in distribution and sales enquiries world-wide for both analogue and digital products.

The iconic silver Airstream Ronnie Lane Mobile Studio (LMS) parked on the booth (the concept was designed around the Ronnie Lane ‘One for the Road' album cover), was the major visual attraction of the show. It also gave engineers the chance to listen to Cadac's classic analogue audio quality in one of the world's most famous acoustic environments, and perform a direct comparison with the audio performance of the new S-Digital console. Reports from live and recording engineers were impressive.

Live musical entertainment on the booth from Stephen Dale Petit, The Pretty Things, The Malchicks and Sacha Morgan reinforced the message that despite the technology, it's always been about the music, reminding everyone why Cadac is an aspirational brand.

The UK debut of the new compact fixed format Live1 consoles and ME2 preamps now makes the Cadac legend available to a vastly wider global market.

A non product related highlight of the show was the appearance of Stan Lane, Ronnie's brother, delighted that the LMS is back on the road after 20 years.
