PR Lighting Launch New Products at PLASA

PR Lighting's XPar 348 (pictured), an IP66 rated outdoor LED par can, in a compact modular design combines 48 x 3W LEDs in an RGBW colour mixing system and is perfect for all indoor and outdoor applications.

Aside from the pre-programmed CTO whites and HSV colour mixing, additional features include pre-programmed and user-programmable macros, master/slave operation and three operating modes. Dimmer is 0-100% (manually adjustable) and strobe 1-20fps - with a linearly-adjustable colour temperature of 3200K-10000K.

Other features include16 pre-set programmes (speed adjustable) and
16 user programmes (speed adjustable).
Power automatically turns off when the LED temperature is too high.

Control is via DMX512, with 3 pin interface - seven channels in short mode, 11 channels in standard mode and 15 channels in extended mode.

Available in standard 15° and 30° beam angles the XPar 348 weighs just 9.3kg and comes with standard barn doors (or optional top hat).

The new XL Beam 300 is a 300W moving head with three beam angle options. The fixture uses the Phillips Fast Fit MSD Gold lamp and superior optics to provide an output of 22000 lumens.

Features include CMY colour mixing (8- or 16-bit), with macro function, colour wheel (with seven dichroic colours plus white), beam iris and seven gobos, which are interchangeable, indexable and rotatable bi-directionally at variable speeds. There is also a gobo shake function.

The result is a versatile, variable speed projector, producing a bi-directional rainbow effect.

The Iris and Dimmer are 0-100 percent linearly adjustable (8- or 16-bit), and the three beam angles offer 7° (standard), 10° (with light frost) and 19° (with heavy frost).

Aimed at the live professional market, these features will give it particular appeal to LD's looking for a long-throw beam with the ability to cut through the brightness of stage washes and LED backgrounds.

Control is via DMX512, with 3 pin and 5 pin interfaces - 14 channels in short mode, 18 channels in standard mode and 21 channels in extended mode.

After the successful launch of the XLED 590 LED moving head wash light, PR Lighting has now produced an alternative version - the XLED 390.

The difference is that instead of using the 90 powerful 5W Osram Diamond Dragon LEDs (30 x Red, 30 x Green, 30 x Blue) the light source is the 3W version, making it ideal for smaller applications.

With a huge output of over 6000 lux at 5m (22° beam angle), the XLED590 closely resembles that of a conventional wash light containing a 1200W discharge lamp, with the advantage of excellent colour mixing and high uniformity of the white beam. While the standard beam angle is 22°, 10° and 35° options are also provided. A 45 degree reflector set is also available.

The XLED 590 comes with ten pre-programme fixed colours (adjustable using the CTC channel). Other features include: colour temperature linearly adjustable (3200°K-10000°K), with four preset fixed colour temperatures (3200K, 5600K, 7200K and 10000K); smooth dimmer; strobe from 1-25 fps; 540° pan, 270° tilt (8- or 16-bit); quiet operation; three preset programmes, and programmable by user from control panel; three optional DMX control modes; RDM (Remote Device Management) ready; automatic power turn off when the LED temperature is too high; lens protection design; compact modular design.

With a chassis constructed in composite plastic and aluminium (IP20) the head weighs just 11kg and measures 350mm x 252mm x 353mm.

The XLED 390 contains all the same features and characteristics as the XL590 but is fitted with 90 x 3W LEDs (30 x Red, 30 x Green, 30 x Blue).
