PRG Distribution and Philips Vari-Lite Launch VLX LED Moving Wash Luminaire
The Vari*Lite VLX Wash luminaire is the next generation of solid-state lighting from the company that helped start the revolution in automated lighting.
The VLX gives all the benefits of LED technology and the best visual performance characteristics of a tungsten source. VLX offers stunning colours and intensity, multi-year source life and high reliability. Combined with low energy consumption and maintenance costs, the Vari*Lite VLX resets the bar for other LED fixtures.
Powered by seven proprietary 90 watt RGBW (red, green, blue and white) LED chipsets, the VLX provides output offering more than three times the efficiency of a tungsten source. The total system provides more than 10,000 lumens of output with a 50,000 hour source life making the high cost of lamp replacements a thing of the past. 70% lumen intensity over its life guarantees that the VLX will remain powerful and bright well in to the future.
Smooth colour mixing, a patented optical zoom systems offering a range of 22 to 60 degrees and a silent, accurate motor system complete this next generation fixture.
