PSCo Screens Chosen for the Global Launch of the New 2010 Range Rover Sport
The global launch of the new 2010 Range Rover Sport will be big news in the automotive industry and to make sure the six week launch event makes a big impact on the international visiting journalists, two of the world's largest plasma screens have been chosen for the job.
Communications company Cricket has partnered Land Rover for over 20 years, creating many of its product launches and media events across the world. The team of brand specialists were commissioned to create an event to launch the new sports tourer to the world, choosing two Panasonic 103" plasmas from AV company PSCo to wow the guests.
A bespoke 15m by 30m structure was built at Scotland's historic motor racing circuit Charterhall, designed to a stunning finish to host each day's activities. As a global media launch, journalists from around the world were invited, Paul Owen, Producer for Cricket explains: "The event offered a complete experience of the new Range Rover Sport, from the its design and technology through to seeing the vehicle perform."
Cricket hired two of the world's largest plasma screens from AV rental company PSCo as part of the backdrop inside the structure. Paul continued: "Two Land Rover presenters, one talking about the design strategy behind the new vehicle and the second discussing the technology and innovation aspect of the car delivered a briefing on the vehicle each day."
The 103" Panasonic plasmas created an impressive backdrop for the business presentations and relayed content to the journalists inside the venue.
Between the presentations, guests could walk around the displays of historic images of motor cars at Charterhall in the 50's and a dynamic experience was also on offer for those wanting to test the full power and performance of the new 2010 Range Rover Sport.
