Spotlight Celebrates 40th Anniversary with New Innovations at PLASA

Spotlight, booth C6 at PLASA will celebrate the 40th anniversary of its foundation (in 1969) and feature new innovations including both their leading range for the performing arts and the architectural range.

In fact Spotlight, despite the inevitable difficulties relating to the current economic situation, maintains its traditional commitment for the research and development of products that might better satisfy the market requests.

The new LED Spot with 12° to 50° Zoom 80W RGBW offers infinite colour combinations for any kind of show, with the possibility of generating white light with several colour temperatures from 2900°K to over 6000°K for photo, cinema and TV use. It has an effective life of about 50,000 hours, useful in architectural applications. Also, the fixture has a modular structure allowing it to be assembled in bars or square arrays depending on the user's needs.

Pole Operated Yokes are applicable to most of Spotlight's products (Fresnel, PC, Cyclorama, Beamlight, etc.) with tilt, pan and focus. It will be also possible to pole-operate other types of fixtures in use to customers, such as videoprojectors, TV cameras, etc. as ia already the case with their DMX ARC motorized yokes.

A new range of Barndoors, combining the budget (Q) and the top model (S) into one single model with a competitive price, now has even higher quality than the current top version.

Available now is a Library of light output data-files to IES and LDT standards for the architectural lighting range (Mini, Midi, and Lucciola) to load the photometric data of these fixtures into the most common design and light planning software available on the market.

On Spotlight's stand all the new products will be shown and working together with the most significant other products, especially models revised and improved in performance, such as the Vedette 1200W low voltage followspot, the parabolic reflector RP1280 and some MIDI versions with a 250W ceramic bulb.

Spotlight will also underline its effort in keeping prices unaltered from last year, with the conviction that, especially in these hard times, the solidity and reputation acquired by the company, along 40 years is an element of stability and security to customers.
