Feel Well and Celebrate with Style in the P1 Bar Munich

Rooms 16 metres high, contemporary colour arrangement, real fireplace, 60 vodka brands and a new Kling & Freitag sound system - in this way the famous P1 opened a new bar in the heart of Munich. The former side rooms of the theatre in the House of Art are unequalled, reflecting the atmosphere of the monumental building. Also, the P1 bar provides a splendid view over the English Garden. The construction of the bar with a height of 4.20 m is the centre and the attention-point of the site, following the style of the mighty colonnades. Warm, discreet colours in eggplant, anthracite and silver round off the glamorous international ambiance. The architect Stefan Mauritz (Mauritz Design) was charged with the interior design and supervision of works. The regulatory planning was managed by Laurent Brückner (Brückner Architects).
A succession of different DJs provide the musical element with a relaxed ambience-sound, funk, brazil, bossa nova, disco-jazz, future-disco and also deephouse music. Sound and music style are adapted to the mood in the bar. What begins discreetly and relaxingly, inviting the guests to chat, may become at later hours an exuberant party atmosphere. When the prevailing DJs are turning the turntables, the company from Munich MDS PAtec Veranstaltungstechnik has been charged with the technical implementation.
The Kling & Freitag sound systems ensure an authentic and pure sound environment: four combinations of CA 1515 with SW 112s for the bass are controlled by the digital system controller K&F CD44. For the additional sound system, four pieces of CA 106 come into operation. This arrangement, on demand of the operator, can create a high value sound environment for the bar, with the chance to obtain a powerful club-like dancing atmosphere.
