Stagesafe Offers Free Downloadable Event Safety and Self-Employment Guides
Event safety specialist Stagesafe has produced two new event information documents, available as free PDF downloads from the Resource Centre of its website, www.stagesafe.co.uk.
The first is entitled the Stagesafe Guide to On-Site Working Practices and Safe Working Procedures in the Technical Production Industry, and is aimed at event companies to give to their staff as a basic guide - and can equally be used by individuals and freelancers as a handy reference. It contains a wealth of professional advice, hints and tips about safe working.
Stagesafe has also updated its Stagesafe Guide to Self-Employment in the Live Music and Events Industry, a guide for the self employed and for those who use the services of the self employed. This invaluable resource includes templates for freelance contracts, and advice on what constitutes self employment status in the eyes of the Inland Revenue.
The website also contains a wealth of information about Stagesafe's event safety advisory services, safety documentation, training and more.
