DMi Enjoys Major Success at ISE with One Stop End-to-End CI Offering
DMi D&M Installation (Europe) enjoyed record visitor numbers and business activity at this year's Integrated Systems Europe exhibition. With the DMi stand inundated with visitors on all three days of the show, the dedicated D&M CI distribution channel signed up a record number of new installers to its accreditation and training programmes.
A major incentive in attracting new installers to DMi was undoubtedly the new Escient Zone product offerings, enabling the streaming and playout of HD video, and the bidirectional control integration of leading Blu-ray players, universal disc players and AV receivers from Denon and Marantz.
DMi brand director, Bert Kiggen, commented: "It has been a very successful show for us with plenty of new installers and distributors signing up for DMi 'membership' and training. Feedback from installers was especially positive to our offering the full integration package incorporating AV components from world renowned brands, with expert support every step of the way. We also had a good number of project developers and architects on the stand marvelling at the capabilities and power of D&M's custom install solutions."
New products, shown at ISE continued the expansion of Escient Zone, DMi's exclusive cost / performance competitive home control system. These included the Zone MP400, an affordable HD video media player, and a series of bi-directional drivers to fully integrate some of the world's leading Blu-ray and universal disc players, and AV receivers from Denon and Marantz. The CES award winning Denon S-5BD audiophile BD-Receiver was also launched in Europe at the show, and Boston Acoustics' new Architectural Series speakers, featuring a revolutionary lighting fixture form, had its European debut.
"We have strengthened our accredited installer / distributor network considerably during ISE," Kiggen continued. "This has greatly reinforced our CI market position in the major territories in Europe. We are looking to continue the momentum of our expansion beyond ISE, particularly into countries such as Portugal, Sweden, Finland and some of the eastern European countries.
