Four TPi Awards Announced Ahead of Event
Ahead of the sold-out TPi Awards 2010 ceremony this evening at Novotel London West in Hammersmith, the winners of the four special (non-voted) categories have been announced.
Those categories are The Editor's Award, presented - and decided by - TPi editor-in-chief and co-founder, Mark Cunningham; the new My Generation Award, which aims to encourage a new breed of production industry talent; the John Peel Unsung Hero Award, named in honour of the legendary DJ and presented in association with the PSA; and the final big accolade of the night, the Lifetime Contribution Award.
Congratulations to Steve & Duchess Iredale, Luke Jackson, John Corr and Fred Heuves whose career achievements will be warmly acknowledged in front of an industry audience of nearly 1,000 during a ceremony hosted by BBC Radio 2's new Breakfast Show presenter, Chris Evans.
