AC-ET Adds G-LEC to its Video Line Up

AC-ET's Video division has extended its portfolio with the G-LEC range of innovative low resolution, transparent LED video solutions, including the new Solaris+ display launching at the ProLight & Sound show in Frankfurt. The agreement covers exclusive distribution for the video range in the UK and Ireland.

Featuring 40mm diameter ‘pixel spheres' mounted at 120mm centres on flexible rope, the Solaris+ hanging 360° LED video curtain provides an extremely cost effective way to furnish eye catching video and graphics effects in entertainment and architectural projects.

Also launching soon is G-LEC's Chimera LED video system for installations. Featuring LEDs mounted on printed circuit boards, the Chimera is the first ‘cut to fit' product to offer absolute flexibility of shape without compromising control over individual LEDs. The system offers designers enormous possibilities for dramatic graphics and video using an LED display that can cover large areas or fit the smallest space. The 700 sqm Chimera installation at the BMW Museum in Munich is the first venue to benefit from the custom designed system.

The G-LEC product range also includes the now industry standard Phantom 30mm and 60mm LED video system, which provides a transparent low resolution screen for touring, events and television.

Kasper Gissel, managing director of G-LEC, commented: "G-LEC is proud to have AC-ET as its partner. G-LEC is a forward looking company with a strong history of innovation and dedication in the world of low resolution video solutions and we believe that AC-ET is the right partner to further this approach to the market."
