Litestructures Introduce New Generation LiteTower EVO
Litestructures introduced the next generation LiteTower290 (dubbed the LiteTower290 EVO) at PL+S 2010 in Frankfurt. Building on the success of the original LiteTower290, the new LiteTower290 EVO is even faster and easier to assemble whilst continuing to maximise the fundamental engineering benefits of strong, lightweight all-aluminium construction.
In direct response to customer feedback, the new EVO design offers a number of improvements over the original LiteTower290; whilst simultaneously increasing load capacity to 2000 kg, Litestructures engineers have succeeded in realising a weight saving of 3 kg per tower. A clever combination of CNC machined components and bespoke extrusions has resulted in a design that can be folded, stowed and wheeled by just one operative, enabling significant savings in crew time and costs. The universal motor mount and bi-directional headstock add the finishing touches to a complete and versatile package.
In short, the LiteTower290 EVO has taken the best rigging tower on the market and improved it yet again to create a new standard. LiteTower290 EVO is now even faster to assemble, lighter and stronger than its predecessor - the best just got better!
LiteTower290 EVO is supplied as a standard kit which includes a base section with braces, one 1m piece of LitePro290HD, LiteTower Headstock, all connectors and hinge kit. The system should only be used with recommended Litestructures Truss and in line with Litestructures technical information and guidance.
