J. R. Clancy Announces New Domestic Sales Manager
J. R. Clancy, Inc., has announced that Matthew M. Mullen (pictured) will join the company’s staff on November 4 in the position of domestic sales manager.
Matt brings extensive project management and sales experience to Clancy. In his most recent position as vice president of Beck Studios, Inc., he was responsible for 40 percent of annual sales, as well as for negotiating and estimating large contracts, establishing budgets and specifications with architects and consultants, and building working relationships with clients. He supervised the installation of projects including the Heinz Hall renovation in Pittsburgh, Penn., the Hullman Center in Terra Haute, Ind., the Hanna Theatre in Cleveland, Ohio, and Alfred University in upstate New York.
Earlier in his career, Mullen supervised the installation of counterweight and motorized rigging systems. He is an ETCP Certified Rigging Professional.
"We have worked with Matt on a number of projects over his nearly 30 years at Beck Studios, and he has been a team player and a knowledgeable professional on every job," said Mike Murphy, J. R. Clancy president. "We are very excited to have Matt become part of the Clancy team."
