Industry focuses on Stage|Set|Scenery 2015
Germany - Around 18 months before Stage|Set|Scenery (9 to 11 June 2015) is due to open its doors bookings for the trade fair for stage, film, media and event technology are already high. 50 per cent of the display area has been taken up. Based on current booking levels exhibitor numbers are expected to be high.
According to Juliane Trempler, project manager of the event: "The high number of bookings is the result of the professional and successful collaboration between DTHG and Messe Berlin."
Key players representing various branches of the industry have already secured floor space. They include Bosch Rexroth AG, Bühnenplanung Walter Kottke Ing.GmbH, Bühnenbau Wertheim GmbH, ETC – Electronic Theatre Controls GmbH, Fülling & Partner Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH, Gerriets GmbH, A. Haussmann Theaterbedarf, HOAC Schweisstechnik GmbH, Kunkel Consulting International GmbH, Räder-Busch GmbH, Salzbrenner Stagetec MediaGroup, skena Planungsgesellschaft mbH, Studio Hamburg Media Consult International (MCI) GmbH and Waagner-Biro Austria Stage Systems AG.
"We are delighted that Stage|Set|Scenery has generated such a huge response," said Hubert Eckart, the managing director of Deutsche Theatertechnische Gesellschaft e.V. (DTHG). "Our close cooperation with international associations and the foreign representatives of Messe Berlin has paid off. In addition to companies belonging to DTHG, exhibitors from seven countries – Belgium, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Sweden and the USA – have all registered to take part."
Stage|Set|Scenery is the international trade fair and congress for theatre planning, film, stage, lighting, sound, video and media technology, make-up, costume and stage-set design, architecture, acoustics, studio, exhibition and museum technology. The trade fair is held in collaboration with Deutsche Theatertechnische Gesellschaft e.V. (DTHG), which also organises the International Stage Technology Conference, an integral part of the event in the display halls. Conceived as a bi-annual event, Stage|Set|Scenery will open its doors for the first time on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds from 9 to 11 June 2015.
