Yamaha Shows Off Its Quality At ABTT 2013

Yamaha professional audio equipment is suitable for theatrical venues and productions of all sizes, a fact amply proved by its presence at this year’s ABTT Theatre Show.

Exhibiting on Stand 137 at ABTT 2013 - which takes place at The Old Truman Brewery, Brick Lane, London from 12th-13th June - Yamaha will be highlighting the sound quality and versatility of its CL series digital mixing system and the Commercial Installer Solutions (CIS) range.

Already well-established in the live production, theatre and broadcast markets, two of the many attractions of the CL series for theatre are its exceptional audio quality and flexibility.

In theatre, where sound levels range from strident music to absolute silence, the quality of sound reinforcement is key. The CL series features head amps which deliver remarkable sonic clarity, coupled with high quality on-board processing which makes CL consoles suitable for any kind of production.

The CL1 can comfortably fit into the tiniest venue, yet has the full functionality of its bigger siblings, the CL3 and CL5. The versatility of Dante audio networking, using a single Cat6 cable, means that the CL console, Rio1608-D and Rio3224-D i/o units and other equipment (such as a laptop for multitrack recording, using Steinberg Nuendo Live) can easily be placed anywhere on the network.

Yamaha has recently further enhanced the flexibility of the CL series with the introduction of the 1u rack height Ri8-D and Ro8-D units, providing extra input and output options which take up very little space.

Ideal for distributed audio in venues of any size, the CIS series includes matrix processors, multi-channel amplifiers, ceiling speakers and surface mount speakers. Again using Dante technology and designed specifically with ease of installation and use in mind, the CIS series is ideal for delivering high quality audio in situations where there isn’t an experienced operator available to manage the system, for example in foyers, bars, food areas, function, meeting and rehearsal rooms and other public areas. It can also be installed to provide high quality sound reinforcement in smaller performance spaces.

Featuring Yamaha’s renowned digital technology and reliability, but at a competitive price, the CIS series can connect with other professional audio products on the Dante network, delivering a complete solution with exceptional audio quality.
