UK - Harlequin Floors, supporter of Dance Proms, has a pair of tickets on offer for next month’s event, which takes place November 2 at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall!
Once again, a Harlequin Liberty sprung floor topped with Harlequin Reversible vinyl surface will be the dance floor, cut to fit the curvature of the Hall’s arena. Harlequin Floors UK Marketing Manager, Caroline Reilly said, "Harlequin has been a sponsor since the inaugural event in 2011 and we are delighted to renew our sponsorship for 2014." To be eligible to enter the draw for a pair of Dance Proms tickets, just email your contact details to firstname.lastname@example.org
The event organisers recently announced: "We are thrilled that Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer, choreographer and presenter; Ian Waite will be hosting the Dance Proms 2014. Ian Waite is probably best known for his role as one of the professional dancers on the BBC’s hit show.
Strictly Come Dancing judge and Dance Proms Patron, Darcey Bussell CBE said: ‘It’s so important that young talent has a chance to see what other talented people are doing at this national event. I know from my own experience how important it is to see what your peers are up to while you’re training. For a student, performing at the Royal Albert Hall is out of this world. They learn so much and it will affect them for the rest of their lives.’
Dance Proms, now in its fourth year, is a spectacular evening of entertainment designed to showcase the high standards of dance from around the UK and the rest of the world. The event covers an array of genres including salsa, street dance, cheerleading, ballet and ballroom, and offers young dancers a unique chance to perform at one of the world’s most iconic venues, alongside celebrity dancers and patrons."
Professional guest acts will be performing on our floor alongside the 2014 Dance Proms Company. The stage will shine with: The Royal Ballet’s Principal Matthew Golding and First Soloist Akane Takada, World Champions Tap Attack, Aura Dance Studios, Junior Ballroom and Latin international competition dancers Oliver Beardmore and Lydia Hall, and Companhia de Dança do Algarve from the 2014 Dance World Cup Finals!
