Liz Hobbs Group Ltd appoints new group Finance Director
UK - Liz Hobbs Group has announced the appointment of new group finance director Lee Bowers (pictured). Lee joins the Newark based events company in the newly created full-time role as FD, to complement the group’s existing finance team and to work with the board to maximise new growth opportunities identified by the business. The appointment puts LHG in a firm position to deliver on its substantial growth investment plans across the UK.
Liz Hobbs Group (LHG) is one of the country’s leading producers of concerts and events, working with some of the world’s greatest, venues and clients, including football stadia, motor racing circuits, cricket grounds and racecourses, combining music and sport.
Lee joins LHG from the Gatecrasher nightclub Group where he held the role of finance and commercial director for over seven years. He brings with him a range of relevant experience in the SME leisure business growth sector, both in the UK and overseas markets. He was instrumental in raising VC funding to finance expansion and flotation of previous businesses to both markets.

There is so much potential within the company for growth into existing and new areas, and I feel my passion for music together with my experience of the music industry can help play a vital role in achieving these goals.”
