Yamaha’s State Of The Art Solutions At ProLight+Sound 2014
While the launch of the QL series digital mixing consoles will be the headline event of Yamaha’s presence at ProLight+Sound 2014, there will many more of the company’s state of the art audio solutions on display at Frankfurt Messe.
Exhibiting in Hall 8.0, Stand F50, Yamaha will be showcasing the brand new R Remote, a software solution which allows engineers to control the head amps of R Series i/o units from a Windows PC. Already used on at least one touring production, R Remote opens up many new possibilities for audio engineers in both the touring and installation markets.
The full range of CL series digital mixing consoles will be on show, including the Rio3224-D, Rio1608-D, and Ri8-D i/o units and a range of mini YGDAI interface cards.
CL consoles also feature in a major Nexo, Audinate and Yamaha demonstration which takes place throughout ProLight+Sound in the adjacent Frankfurt Festhalle.
Now featuring in many significant installations throughout Europe, the full range of CIS series installation products will be on display, including the latest EN54-24 certified versions of the VXC and VXS loudspeaker ranges, which are specifically designed for use in PA/VA voice alarm systems.
Yamaha and Steinberg’s flagship Nuage audio post-production system will also be on demonstration and AFC3 Active Field Control will also feature, an innovative system which transparently adjusts and enhances the acoustic characteristics of a space while preserving its natural features.
