ETC - When lighting designer Amarasri Songcharoen (aka Marci Song) of Seam Design was looking for the best lighting fixtures to light the 500 year old Raphael Cartoons – a series of large artworks by Rafael on display in London’s Victoria & Albert Museum – she knew she needed something special. It had to be something which would output minimal or no ultraviolet light, as well as provide a perfectly lit atmosphere for a giant mirrored sculpture which was to be installed as part of the London Design Festival.

Two of this season’s most successful regional festivals took place this August in Oregon where the five-year-old BI-MART Willamette Country Music Festival in Brownsville (August 15-17) drew upwards of 25,000 fans who came to hear acts like Blake Shelton, Gary Allen and Eric Church. Belgium – Barco has announced the launch of the RLM-W14 – a three-chip DLP® projector offering Active Stereo 3D, WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200) resolution, and a brightness level of 14,500 center lumens. This is the first three-chip DLP Barco projector that’s equipped with HDBaseT technology to provide video over IP through a single Cat 5 cable.
