ETC set to exhibit at IBC 2014
Holland - ETC is getting ready for the IBC show in Amsterdam, 12-16 September, with fixtures, system- and power control to be highlighted on their stand (A62 in Hall 11).
Available for demonstration in the integrated system control area of the stand will be the ETC Unison Paradigm control system. Paradigm provides presenters, technicians and camera operators with the tools to control lighting in all studio situations. It has been used in an increasing number of remote studios, including at BBC News’ Westminster studios, where the presenter or reporter can operate the small studio’s lighting from a touch-panel on the desk, out of sight of the camera.
Also on display will be the latest Source Four LED Series 2 developments, which are especially suited for broadcast use. Visitors to ETC’s stand will get the first glimpse of the new fixtures.
ETC’s unique seven colour LED mixing system gives designers the ability to adjust the colour to suit studio cameras, while also highlighting set pieces and making sure the on-screen talent looks as good as they would in daylight. Colour temperatures can be set anywhere between 2700K and 6500K, while a green adjustment – operated from the button panel on the back of each luminaire or from the lighting control desk – ensures the fixtures can be fine tuned to studio cameras. A unique High 25K flicker-free mode can also be used to stop the flickering that is commonly seen when LED luminaires are used with high speed and rolling shutter cameras.
Meanwhile, when used with the Source Four LED CYC adapter, the Source Four LED becomes even more versatile, becoming the perfect cyclorama light of the future, bringing smooth, silent colour changing to backdrops, with no visible gaps or seams between beams.
Please visit ETC on stand A62 in Hall 11 at IBC 2014, where you can see these and other products from the company’s range of lighting and control products, and talk to ETC staff to find out how ETC equipment can work in your studio or project.
