ETC’s iRFR and aRFR App Benefit Behind the Scenes UK
Sales of ETC’s iRFR and aRFR (Radio Focus Remote) application for iOS and Android devices continue to benefit industry professionals who are seriously ill or injured through the Behind the Scenes UK charity. At the recent PLASA London show, a cheque for £19,084.37 was presented by ETC’s Luke Delwiche and Sarah Clausen to John Simpson, chair of the Behind the Scenes UK board of trustees.
ETC’s CEO, Fred Foster, said of the donation: “Once again we’re amazed at the amount of money raised from the purchase of the iRFR and aRFR apps, and by the incredible work that Behind the Scenes has done with the funds. Great support is at the heart of ETC, and we’ve been able to see that same philosophy spread throughout our industry with this program. We’re humbled to see how many people have stepped up and supported their colleagues by simply downloading an app.
Upon receiving the cheque Simpson, commented: “Fred has always been involved in giving back to the industry he loves, whether by encouraging the next generation of designers and technicians or by so generously supporting the charity that helps working professionals in need. That personal philosophy has become ETC’s corporate philosophy and it serves as a wonderful model for our industry. We urge other companies to join ETC by becoming a Behind the Scenes UK Pledge-a-Product Partner.”
