The Warehouse Sound Services Host D&B Audiotechnik V-Series Point Source Presentation

UK – On Tuesday 24th November at The Pavilion Theatre Rehearsal Space, Glasgow, the d&b audiotechnik GB team will present a new breed of point source loudspeakers with sales partner The Warehouse Sound Services.

The event marks the Scottish debut of the d&b audiotechnik V-Series point source loudspeakers. Oran Burns from d&b audiotechnik GB Education and Application Support will showcase the V7P, V10P and V-GSUB.

Oran will host two presentations one at 11:00 and another at 14:00. Both demonstrations will offer industry professionals the chance to familiarise themselves with this new breed of loudspeakers and all their rigging options.

Janet Murray, director at The Warehouse Sound commented: “We’re really delighted to be showcasing the V-Series point sources which we think are exceptional. The design of the mid range horn means that the vocal performance is extraordinary. We believe these loudspeakers are what the industry has been waiting for in terms of performance.”

The demands for a high performance point source have always been the same: reliable, lightweight and compact, and with a wide range of rigging options for maximum flexibility. The V7P and V10P from d&b audiotechnik are a new breed of loudspeaker offering all this and more, including the d&b hallmark constant directivity control down to low frequencies.

The three-way passive V7P and V10P deliver 75°x40° and 110°x40° (hxv) dispersion characteristics respectively. Both loudspeakers feature an advanced horn-loaded mid range section, which provides remarkable MF sensitivity. This MF performance, particularly in the vocal range, is where these compact V-Series cabinets excel. This endless vocal headroom make them suitable for applications which demand high sound pressure levels with full bandwidth capabilities from a single box solution.

The rotatable horn and wide range of rigging options make mounting in either orientation simple. The demonstration will explore the new point source system in all ground stacked and flown configurations. Attendees will also have the opportunity to listen to the V7P and V10P, together with the cardioid V-GSUB, powered by the D80 amplifier.

Attendance is by registration via Attendees are advised to register now to secure a place.
