HHB and RTW announce UK distribution deal at BVE 2015

HHB Communications Ltd. has been named RTW’s distributor for the UK and Ireland with immediate effect at BVE 2015 on Stand J43.

RTW is a German professional audio manufacturer renowned for developing innovative instruments and technologies for visual audio monitoring in broadcast, production, post-production and quality control. A leader in loudness technology, RTW pioneered the development of audio monitoring and metering with the TouchMonitor range by incorporating a top-notch loudness system.

RTW continues to innovate in the field of loudness monitoring with the introduction of the Loudness Tools Masterclass plug-in. RTW CEO Andreas Tweitmann commented: “The DPP’s adoption of EBU R128 loudness standards has made the UK a very important market for innovative audio loudness tools. HHB is the UK’s leading authority on loudness technology and we are confident in their expertise to deliver the best sales and technical support to top broadcast and post production facilities.”

HHB director of sales Martin O’Donnell explains: “It is very exciting to add RTW to our portfolio of leading loudness technology. They offer a range of solutions for professional workflows that we have a great deal of experience with, and their new loudness software will be very interesting to our broadcast and post production customers.”

HHB is highlighting RTW’s latest broadcast audio products at BVE, including the TouchMonitor hardware range and the new Loudness Tools software, an entirely new range of products that provides RTW meters as standard-format plug-ins for Windows and Mac OS. The Loudness Tools Masterclass plug-in provides the functionality of the TM7 and TM9 basic PPM instruments in combination with its loudness licence to offer the same degree of functionality and clarity as the hardware models.
