Electrosonic Win 'Most InAVative Control Room' Award in Amsterdam
The Netherlands – Electrosonic recently won most InAVative Control Room Award at the annual InAVate Awards Ceremony in Amsterdam. The event took place on 9th February, the first day of Integrated Systems Europe exhibition.
The most InAVative Control Room Award was accepted by Electrosonic and Barclays for their work on the Barclays Radbroke Global Command Centre, which opened in December 2014. This is the second award that Electrosonic have earned for the project, after receiving an AV Award for ‘Control Room Project of the Year’ in September 2015.
“We’re delighted to have won the InAVate award and thrilled that it is our second award for the project. The team at Electrosonic were extremely diligent in completing this project to a very high standard, while under strict time constraints”. Colin Lemmings, director, head of business development EMEA
Delivered in a very tight time scale of eight to 12 weeks, the Global Command Centre consists of three large media walls which are used to monitor various metrics, and features videoconferencing capabilities to allow teams to collaborate with their equivalent centres in India and Lithuania. AV systems design, and the complete AV systems integration and installation were carried out by Electrosonic.
Electrosonic provided a system that gave Barclays the utmost functionality, reliability and value for money through detailed design, bespoke programming and innovative usage of technology. The result gave Barclays an aesthetically pleasing, flexible and functional Centre.
InAVate partnered with Integrated Systems Europe for this year’s awards, which allowed them to add weight to the SeeHearTouch and Learn charitable initiative from Integrated Systems Events. Donations from the ticket and table sales will help to pay for specialist consultants and integrators to assist in the installation of equipment within an ‘E-Start-Up Academy’ in Chisinau, Moldova.
