USA – Knoxville area leaders, including Mayor Madeline Rogero who was awarded the 2016 Leadership Knoxville Distinguished Alumni Award, gathered for Leadership Knoxville’s 7th Annual Mayors’ Leadership Luncheon 23rd May at the Knoxville Convention Center. Bandit Lites donated a lighting package for the occasion where the keynote speaker was the mayor of Louisville, Kentucky, Greg Fisher.

“Since this is a luncheon in a convention center, we livened it up a bit and made it not seem so sterile,” said Bandit’s director of philanthropy Allison Burchett. “We stayed with their colours of blue and white, and added in just a touch of red just to give it a little pop.”

While past years featured a winged truss, for this year’s growing soiree Bandit provided a straight across black drape backdrop with pars lining all four walls, giving a classic, elegant look to the fanciful fête.

VL 2500s were mounted on to truss towers placed upstage, flanking screens on the stage and side stage, while Bandit Lites’ exclusive LED GRNLite pars were placed to light the upstage drapes and screens along the walls of the convention centre.

Additional gear included MAC 2000 Profiles, GRNLite Moving Washes, GRNLite LED Washes with control from a Road Hog console.

“We are proud to be involved with Leadership Knoxville,” added Burchett. “Bandit’s chairman, Michael T. Strickland is an alum of Leadership Knoxville, a member of the inaugural class of Leadership Tennessee, and our son Chase is about to start Youth Leadership Knoxville. We are firm believers in the mission: Every leader a servant leader.”
