Panasonic nominated in five categories at AV Awards 2016
UK – Panasonic has been nominated in five categories at this year’s AV Awards, including Manufacturer of the Year.
Organised by AV Magazine, the AV Awards celebrates the best of the audio-visual industry in the biggest AV industry event of the year. It takes place on Friday 30th September at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
The company has also been nominated for Projector of the Year with the PT-FZ570, which has a completely dustproof cover for consistently bright projection as well as the ability to add wireless functionality.
The AF1 display has been nominated for Digital Signage Product of the Year, which uses the adaptable OpenPort PLATFORM for incredible functionality and flexibility in a wide variety of applications.
A digital mapping show at Blackpool Tower using PT-DW17K2 projectors has been nominated for Live Event of the Year. The project saw 14 projectors used to light up the front of the Tower Ballroom in a show that was integrated with lighting on the tower itself as well as on the promenade.
Finally, ‘Le Petit Chef’ visual mapping has been nominated for Leisure and Hospitality Project of the Year. The project used PT-VZ570 LCD-projectors which provided the high resolution needed for mapping at such close proximity to the audience.

We have achieve disruptive change by providing the industry great products and excellent research, so that that our customers have the confidence to embrace the shift to laser after decades of lamps and filters.”
