Technology and Innovation at the Heart of ibtm Events
Spain – ibtm world continues to provide a platform for both cutting-edge technology and leading innovation. This year will see the growth of the Innovation Zone as well as the introduction of a Technology & Event Services Zone on the show floor.
The Innovation Zone will is expected to have many new exhibitors, featuring interactive experiences, demonstrating solutions, applications and technologies all geared to solving specific meetings and events industry challenges. The Izone will provide a unique and interactive showcase of the latest innovations impacting the industry now and in the future.
For the first time, EventMB will partner with ibtm world this year to run Technology and Innovation Award, considered to be the leading industry barometer of ideas and solutions showcasing the most innovative international companies shaping the future of events.
Graeme Barnett, senior exhibition director ibtm world explained the agreement: “Partnering with Event MB for our international award scheme opens up a new segment of this growing sector, and we are delighted to be working with Julius Solaris as well as looking forward to seeing the winners and their products in the Innnovation Zone this year.”
The Technology & Event Services Village is open to individual entrepreneurs and companies who want to be in front of a global network of powerful meetings industry buyers looking to find solutions to shape their events in the future.
Graeme Barnett added: “We have a long history of supporting the event technology community at ibtm world as it is vital to the future of the events industry. Live demonstrations, hands-on sessions and education will all be part of the showcase of products and services. The Tech and Innovation Award with EventMB will also identify ten of the latest start-ups in the industry and support them towards a greater industry presence and potential. They will all be at ibtm world this year.”
