Panasonic projects big things following UK rental event
UK – Panasonic took over Fazeley Studios in Birmingham on the 12th and 13th July where it installed an innovation showcase combining both broadcast and audio visual products.
Set to be the new reference in high brightness rental projection and available from November 2017, the 20,000 lumens RZ21K series offers Panasonic Solid Shine laser phosphor technology and promises bright, natural picture quality.
Lucy Meredith, product marketing specialist for Panasonic UK, said: “The RZ21K is perfectly positioned for the rental and staging industry. Featuring a dual-laser 3-Chip DLP light source, it has built-in redundancy and provides uninterrupted projection to ensure the show goes on should a laser diode fail. This makes it perfect for high-profile applications.”
In addition, the rental event saw a demonstration of the AK-UC3000 Live 4K camera system. Offering long distance fibre optical transmission, the studio camera supports 4K, HD and SD acquisition simultaneously, achieving high sensitivity and low noise.
A moving projection mapping utilising d3 media servers and BlackTrax also grabbed the attention of visitors to Fazeley Studios.
