Stage engineering specialists iStudio Projects Ltd step up a gear with three key appointments
UK – IStudio Projects Ltd is known for developing its in-house talent, but also looks outwards for professionals who share the company’s service ethos. Now, to help drive its UK expansion programme, iStudio Projects announces the appointment of three new key individuals.
Mark Taylor promoted to general manager – Mark has been senior project manager for the past two years. Simon Caldwell, CEO, iStudio Projects Ltd, says: “We’re delighted with Mark’s commitment and progress at iStudio Projects. As senior project manager, he delivered consistently impressive results, developing an extensive network of clients while maintaining the exceptional service that is our hallmark. This promotion is the beginning of a very exciting future, and we look forward to expanding our UK business with Mark at the helm.”
Mark has managed a wide range of stage engineering projects from the design, supply and install of stage lifts, powered flying systems and general stage equipment, to the current multi-million pound stage engineering redevelopment of the Queen Elizabeth Hall at London’s Southbank Centre. His experience spans theatres, opera houses, international events and venues around the world. Based at the company’s head office in Bury St Edmunds, Mark will also continue to work with iStudio Project’s more recently established North American operation in Houston, Texas.
Scott Richardson appointed as sales and marketing manager – Scott's role at iStudio Projects will be to bring his dynamism and expertise to grow sales and revenues in the stage engineering division. Aaron Caldwell, iStudio Projects director and head of the USA office, welcomes Scott to the team: "Scott has a comprehensive understanding of our products and services and their application. He comes to us with a great track record, and has been recognised with numerous accolades. We're really pleased to have recruited a team member with the skills and characteristics that will help us continue to move forward."
Scott says: "My main focus at iStudio Projects will be to grow sales and revenues by maximising every opportunity. While my career to date has given me a strong set of skills and a high level of technical understanding, I’m aware that success depends on continued learning in an industry that never stands still. iStudio Projects is held in high regard, and I'm very much looking forward to bringing my energy to this exciting new challenge."
Paul ‘Woody’ Woodward appointed as project manager – As project manager in the company’s stage engineering division, Paul will ensure that team members work together at their best to deliver complex projects on time and budget, and with the quality that clients expect of iStudio Projects Ltd. Mark Taylor, general manager, says: “Paul’s performance in his previous role as site installation manager showed us that he has what it takes to go to the next level. His technical expertise, organisational ability and interpersonal skills will be vital in helping us achieve our ambitions.”
