Brand New Features on the Current RMS Roadmap For 2018
The Current RMS team will be starting the New Year meeting new faces and catching up with existing customers at PLASA Focus Glasgow this January. They’ll be sharing with them their latest feature releases from 2017 and some exciting new ones on the horizon for the next 12 months.
Keeping their customers needs first, in the past year alone Current has seamlessly added over 14 updates to its cloud rental management system, each one making it even easier for rental businesses to stay on top of their kit, manage their crew and resources, as well as send out professional, branded documents to clients. Updates have included the well-received serialised containers feature, allowing users to create permanent kits of serialised assets always sent out together, and adding them to a job with one single scan. In September, Current RMS also launched Global Check-in, giving users the ability to scan in various assets across multiple jobs, all from one screen. This new feature is perfect for busy days in the warehouse when kit returns from multiple jobs at once and getting products checked back in and on the shelves is a top priority.
Looking forwards, Current RMS already have a number of additional features in the development pipeline for 2018. With many updates chosen by demand of their customers, users of the system can submit and vote for their favourite ideas on Current’s online customer wishlist, ensuring the software always meets the demand of the industry it was built for.
