Infinity invites visitors to its PLASA stand with Signature, Furion and Chimp
UK – Infinity will attend this year’s PLASA show in London Olympia, in the National Hall, 16-18th September, where it will present the new Robert Juliat collaboration Signature theatre spots, the powerful Furion moving heads and the new standard in light controllers, the Chimp. Infinity can be found at location G30.
Infinity wanted to create a new range of theatre spots, based on LED technology with a perfect dimming curve, low power consumption, compatible with all current theatre lighting requirements and a perfect replacement for the conventional luminaires. To be able to do so world-renowned Robert Juliat was contacted and together they created the new standard for theatre illumination: the Infinity Signature Series. This innovative series of theatre profile and Fresnel spots offers maximum output with low power consumption: 300W consumption delivers the performance of a conventional 2000W Tungsten Halogen unit (TS-300 and TF-300). Even replacing colour filters belongs to the past. 64 of the most used theatrical colour have already been added into the built-in virtual scroller (TS-260C7).
The Infinity Furion moving heads are true powerhouses. Engineered by professionals for professionals, Infinity developed a new advanced technology to receive the best possible performance and motor control to produce very fast as well as very slow, precise movements. All Furion fixtures are equipped with a gravity sensor which controls not only the orientation within the menu but, if so desired, also inverts the pan movement automatically. The Infinity Furion S201 has a1:2.5 zoom ratio from 12° to 30°, a double colour wheel with a grand total of 14 colours, a gobo set of six rotating glass and eight fixed metal gobos, and they are equipped with Digital Motion FX to generate effects on top of the gobo set for even more dramatic projections. The Infinity Furion S401 even offers a 5:1 ratio zoom range from 6° to 30°. But the top of the bill is the Infinity Furion S601 which even comes with four separately controllable blades to create the perfect beam The CMY+CTO module makes picking the right colour very easy.
The Infinity Chimp light controllers are becoming a house hold name since their introduction. With filter libraries from Lee, Rosco and Apollo, picking the right colour will be a breeze. The built-in fixture library will make it very easy to generate a light show. The Chimp 300 even comes with a 22” full HD touchscreen and, like his younger brother Chimp 100, has the possibility of expanding by adding a Bananawing which adds two extra universes and a 100 extra fixtures.
