L-Acoustics Training Now AVIXA CTS-Certified

The Netherlands – L-Acoustics announced it is an official AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS®) Renewal Unit (RU) Provider for the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) trade show. Engineers participating in L-Acoustics training programmes, either at an L-Acoustics location or via L-Acoustics Certified Partners throughout the world, will now also be able to receive CTS Renewal Units (RU).

As part of the AVIXA CTS Renewal Unit (RU)-recognised programme, Soundvision Basics will grant 1.5 RU and LA Drive System Training 2 RU.

The L-Acoustics training programmes, offered across the globe and in local languages by L-Acoustics certified trainers, are the foundation of our global success,” explained Etienne Corteel, director of scientific outreach at L-Acoustics. “We know that making world-class sound systems is just the beginning. Having a global network of L-Acoustics certified engineers guarantees experienced, professional systems engineers who will design, implement and calibrate those systems to the very highest standard. Adding AVIXA CTS certification to our trainings is a recognition of the value that these sessions offer.”

Continuing education is an important element for professional growth,” said Amanda Beckner, CTS, vice president of learning, AVIXA. “We are so proud of education partners like L-Acoustics who are committed to investing in education resources and providing AV professionals better accessibility to these programmes.”

For more than 30 years, AVIXA has administered the CTS program, which is recognised as the leading AV professional credential. There are three CTS credentials: general (CTS), design (CTS-D), and installation (CTS-I). There are currently more than 12,000 CTS holders and over 2,000 of those are CTS-D or CTS-I holders.
