White Light at ETS-LDI 2004
White Light will continuing its long association with LDI, exhibiting at this year's ETS-LDI Trade Show which takes place at the Sands Convention Centre in Las Vegas from 22-24 October.
Pride of place on White Light's booth, number 2639, will be the award-winning Digital Festoon System. This is a radical rethink of conventional festoon lighting that allows each lamp along a festoon to be individually dimmed under the control of either a laptop or via DMX from a lighting console. Giving the possibility of creating stunning light displays from apparently simple strings of light bulbs, the Digital Festoon System carries both power and DMX using a patented data system. Up to 200 lamps can be controlled from a single Digital Festoon System power supply.
Launched at this year's PLASA Show, the Digital Festoon System was one of the winners of the PLASA Show's Awards for Innovation. It will no-doubt appeal to those creating novel light shows and - of particular relevance to the Las Vegas market - those looking to create spectacular signs!
Alongside the Digital Festoon System, White Light will be launching the new, DMX-controlled version of their popular VSFX range of optical effects in the USA. VSFX remains one of the simplest yet most effective ways of creating effects such as moving clouds or running water, and can currently be seen on US tours of shows such as Oliver! and Oklahoma! The new version features on-board DMX control to simplify its integration into DMX-controlled lighting systems.
White Light will also be showing products from architectural lighting specialist Enliten, including the Callisto exterior framing projector and a range of daylight (7000K) colour temperature lighting including the Enliten Exhibition PAR and Exhibition Profile which continue to prove hugely popular in the field of auto shows and permanent installations such as car dealerships and shopping malls.
