Lodestar Winner

Tara is lighting director for ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ and has worked at Harpo Studios for 11 years. She says her favorite part of her job working on one of the most popular talk shows is the “sheer craziness of it all”.
When she received the call notifying her that she was the lucky winner, her first response was to burst out into an impromptu song, “I won a chain motor! I won a chain motor!” The timing couldn’t be better. The new motor will come in handy for a new set being built for the show.
