Cyclo 04 DMX Wallwasher
The Cyclo 04 DMX Wallwasher from Martin Architectural is a recessed fluorescent wallwasher with RGB color mixing that generates both white and colored light. Suited to a wide range of retail applications, it also provides an interesting solution for the office environment by applying dynamic light in recreation areas and conference rooms.
DMX controllable, the Cyclo 04 DMX Wallwasher features extended color control and exceptional white and colored light quality. It represents a breakthrough for its ability to successfully compress color-changing technology into an architectural fitting.
The full gamut of white and colored light is achieved by combining four dimmable T5 fluorescent lamps, the primary colors red, green and blue, in a process known as additive color mixing, and an additional neutral white tube of 4000K. When installed at a setback of 1/3 the height of the wall, colored light is distributed extremely evenly and smoothly.
This flawless color distribution is achieved by a combination of advanced optical technology and reflectors with Lambertian characteristics. Because light strikes at the very top of the wall, wall coverage is total, eliminating the upper dark zone commonly associated with wallwashers. Moreover, the design of the metallic reflector ensures that colored light is first seen when it strikes the projection surface.
The Cyclo O4 DMX Wallwasher provides true full-range intensity control of each tube. It can either be controlled by an external DMX controller, or with its own built-in programming capability that allows for pre-set color sequences. DMX addresses and pre-set programs are selected via an on-board DIP switch. It is possible to link multiple Cyclos together in synchronized master/slave operation. Installation is fast and simple, using through-wired data (RJ-45) and power (Ensto) connectors.
Applications are many and include white and color washing of walls and ceilings for retail, restaurants, hotels and other commercial applications, as well as programmable color changes and fluctuating daylight effects for conference rooms, recreation spaces, and multi-functional areas.
