Eidim Group Installs Adamson SpekTrix in Los Angeles

Young Nak Presbyterian Church located in Los Angeles has improved their sound reinforcement system with Adamson’s SpekTrix Series, Line Source Array System. The Presbyterian Church has a capacity of 1200 in the main Sanctuary, and a congregation of approximately 3500 people.

Young Nak installed their first sound reinforcement system in 1989 and have upgraded it three times since – Plagued with a plethora of sound reinforcement problems regardless of the system installed.

“There were a series of complaints regarding dead spots on the sides and corners, a hot spot in the middle, and feed back all around,” commented Keith Vanderkley of Adamson’s technical and sales support department. In an attempt to make their congregation’s worship experience more pleasant, EIDIM Group inc., a Christian consulting group out of Santa Fe Springs, stepped in to assess the situation.

The Adamson SpekTrix series came highly recommended to Andrew W. Bang EIDIM’s President and CEO. According to Mr. Bang, it was chosen because of its “superb sound quality”.

After what seemed like a series of endless meetings with Pastor Han Soo Kim and Deacan Min Lee, the EIDEM Group convinced Young Nak Presbyterian Church to upgrade into a SpekTrix system. The final design consisted of four Adamson SpekTrix, six SpekTrix Wave’s and two SpekTrix Subs for the main left and right system. “It has perfect coverage without needing any additional fills. It is visually and acoustically, a beautiful box. They are very happy with the purchase.” Andrew W. Bang added.
