ChromaRange LEDs Go Underground in Mexico

Remodelling was not an easy task because the place is solid rock on which conventional tools are practically useless. However, 27 carefully calculated detonations with high and low explosives removed 1200 tons of rock, enabling the capacity to be raised from 220 to 400. To enter the club, a small train with 30 people aboard travels 520 metres through a tunnel into the hillside. At the end of the journey you are 315 metres underground, and at the doors of the subterranean club.
José and Edson conceived the design of the mine project and it was essential that the illumination wasn’t overbearing and ruin the essence of the place - it is the rock that should stand out.
The creative team chose to illuminate the whole periphery with Pulsar LED ChromaStrips, and gave high marks to Pulsar, saying they offer the best solutions as well as the highest quality in illumination on a global level.
Sixty ChromaStrip 900s illuminate the entire vault and give the bar an incredible atmosphere. In the central area a circular glass floor is illuminated with 30 more Pulsar ChromaStrip 900s. Being underground poses no problem as the ChromaStrips have an IP65 waterproof rating.
The Zacatecas Mine is a must-see. Visiting clubbers are drawn in by the club's unique history, seductive vibe and its classy ambience that exudes nightclub charm. There has never been such a truly unique themed bar experience.
The ChromaStrip is part of Pulsar's ChromaRange family of LED fixtures.
